Hogan’s Curtains and Blinds, one of the oldest established businesses in Mount Waverley, has embarked on a raft of exciting changes recently with a new showroom and a new location.
Founded in the 1970’s by former Warrnambool businessman Kevin Hogan as Taylor’s Curtains, the business was rebranded to Hogan’s Curtains and Blinds and relocated to 296 Stephenson’s Road, Mount Waverley in 1992.
Last November the store reopened with a new showroom at 10 The Highway, Mount Waverley, only a stone’s throw from the former site.
Over the years Hogan’s Curtains and Blinds has developed a solid reputation in Melbourne’s south-east for making and supplying luxury window furnishings, from blinds and curtains, to shutters, drapes and more.
Their product range includes hollands, bonded, roman, venetians and printed blinds, curtains in a wide variety of materials and styles as well as pelmets, cushions, bedspreads, throws, rugs and quilts.
Hogan’s interior consultant/manager Stacey Stott said: “They are all custom made to your exact window sizes and once the goods are made we will arrange for our installer to come to your home.”
“All our goods are made in Australia except for our plantation shutters which are imported. “Everything else is made locally. The curtains are made in Box Hill, the blinds are made in Dandenong and the tracks are made in Seaford.”
Hogan’s Curtains and Blinds offer a free measure and quote and provide samples of a range of colours and fabrics for customers to choose from.
“I don’t know if there’s are too many houses in Mount Waverley or Glen Waverley that Hogan’s haven’t done something in. We are now dealing with third generation family members,” Stacey said.
Hogan’s Curtains and Blinds are open from 10.30am until 3pm Monday to Friday or phone 9888 2233 to arrange an appointment.
