A fast paced coffee service coupled with a delicious breakfast, brunch and lunchtime offering are the attraction for customers at Shine Café, a locally owned and operated café at the Mount Waverley Shopping Centre.
Shine Café was established at Hamilton Walk in 2015 by business partners Jay and Jenny with the common goal of combining good coffee and delicious food in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.
“We offer a very good range of menu items which cater for all demographics in Mount Waverley,” said Jay, who has 17 years’ experience in the café/restaurant business.
The all-day breakfast menu includes many of the traditional favourites such as Spanish benedict, classic benedict, smashed avocado, bacon and eggs, pancakes with strawberries, chilli scramble, eggs Florentine and chicken avocado toasted sandwich.
There’s a range of healthy salads including summer crispy schnitzel, smoked salmon, calamari and prawn, freshly made sandwiches, toasties and croissants as well as cakes, slices and muffins.
From solid and bold espressos, frothy and velvety cappuccinos to smooth, creamy lattes, there is a coffee drink that is sure to satisfy your taste preferences. Other drink options include tea, juices, smoothies, milkshakes and cold drinks.
The café has seating for 65 people with a great rear courtyard and alfresco options. “We have a very fast service which is lacking these days in a lot of other places. At Shine Café you can get a cup of coffee in under two minutes!” Jay said.
Customers can order online through Uber Eats, Menulog and DoorDash and have the wide selection of Shine Café food delivered safely to your door.
