Sebastian Kan Luo and Fei Gao, partners of SKL & Associates at Mount Waverley Shopping Centre, are passionate about accountancy.
And with a combined 36 years’ experience in their chosen profession the partners are well qualified to assist customers in the areas of business advice, accounting, taxation and other money matters.
Having gained a Masters Degree in Accountancy at Monash University, Sebastian worked for several accountancy firms in the Melbourne CBD and suburbs before establishing SKL & Associates in 2014, firstly at 6/8 Hamilton Place and four years later at Level 1/12 Hamilton Place.
Fei, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Melbourne University, joined the company in 2017 having served with accountancy practices around Melbourne for 18 years. With many years of experience in public accounting, Sebastian and Fei were honoured with the Fellow CPA status in 2023.
SKL & Associates specialise in tax compliance and advice for individuals and small to medium businesses. Their client base covers a wide range of sectors including health, consulting, hospitality, building construction and IT.
“Our range of services include tax compliance, financial planning, setups for sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts, managing superannuation funds and preparing income tax returns, BAS statements and financial reports,” Fei said.
They are dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals whether they be tax savings, asset protection, or company succession, while also ensuring legal compliance to provide customers with peace of mind.
“We provide a good quality of service. We maintain a relationship directly with our clients, so we can respond quickly as we really know the clients,” Fei added.
Sebastian and Fei both live in the eastern suburbs with their young families. Sebastian and his wife Winnie have a daughter Veronica, while Fei and her husband Will have a daughter Olivia and a son Victor.
Sebastian has served as treasurer of the Mount Waverley Village Traders Association for the past 12 months.
